چکیده
Quantitative plant species ?-diversity of grasslands at multiple spatial and temporal scales is important for investigating the responses biodiversity to global change protecting under change. Potential (i.e., SRp, Shannonp, Simpsonp Pieloup: potential richness, Shannon index, Simpson index Pielou respectively) were quantified by climate data annual temperature, precipitation radiation) actual SRa, Shannona, Simpsona Pieloua: normalized difference vegetation data. Six methods random forest, generalized boosted regression, artificial neural network, linear support vector machine recursive regression trees) used in this study. Overall, constructed forest models performed best among six algorithms. The simulated based on can explain no less than 96% variation observed ?-diversity. RMSE relative biases between ?1.58 within ±4.49%, respectively. Climate-related vegetation characteristics derived from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) leaf area index and normalized difference vegetation index
[1] MODIS-based leaf area index (LAI) and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) are used to examine detailed information regarding actual growing season and total annual production for various regions. Overall, MODIS LAI has larger variability and demonstrates more information regarding the evolution and structure of the seasonal vegetation characteristics. In contrast, the NDVI saturat...

Because in situ techniques for determining vegetation even when applied to areas of low vegetation cover, the SMA approach correctly determined the sense of change abundance in semiarid regions are labor intensive, they usually are not feasible for regional analyses. Remotely (i.e., positive or negative) in 87% of the samples. SMA results are superior to NDVI, which, although correlated sensed ...

متن کاملMapping and Attributing Normalized Difference Vegetation Index Trends for Nepal
Global change affects vegetation cover and processes through multiple pathways. Long 1 time series of surface land surface properties derived from satellite remote sensing give unique 2 abilities to observe these changes, particularly in areas with complex topography and limited research 3 infrastructure. Here, we focus on Nepal, a biodiversity hotspot where vegetation productivity is 4 limited...
متن کاملFacilitative plant interactions and climate simultaneously drive alpine plant diversity.
Interactions among species determine local-scale diversity, but local interactions are thought to have minor effects at larger scales. However, quantitative comparisons of the importance of biotic interactions relative to other drivers are rarely made at larger scales. Using a data set spanning 78 sites and five continents, we assessed the relative importance of biotic interactions and climate ...
